Why is the Cottage Lankás the ideal choice?

COMFORT AND COZY

In addition to the authentic atmosphere, you can expect modern, new furniture, high-quality textiles, and a fully equipped kitchen. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and bright. High-quality mattresses, hypoallergenic bedding, covers made of natural materials, fluffy towels, and nostalgic decorations ensure your well-being.

The house is accessible via three very shallow steps, and inside there is only a small unevenness in the floor that is easily traversed—ideal even for guests with knee problems. Here, you won't be disturbed, and you won't have to share with anyone. The house has a traditional clay construction, which ensures a pleasant indoor climate in every season, is well-ventilated, and natural.

The old town is very close by, and you can conveniently park in the courtyard. If you arrive by bus, the stop is only about 20 meters away—so very close indeed.

There is no television, as we value quality time together. Instead, we recommend walks, excursions, relaxation, barbecues, or making pancakes together. A large cupboard full of books and games offers entertainment for all ages. And just in case: Wi-Fi is available.

FOOD

Unlimited coffee and tea are available in the cottage.

The cozy country-style kitchen with its wooden beamed ceiling is perfect for home cooks: a sandwich maker, oven, stove, pancake iron, and waffle iron are all provided, so you can cook to your heart's content. A large refrigerator offers plenty of space for all your ingredients. When the weather is nice, you can grill outdoors or cook in a cauldron over an open fire and enjoy the fresh air.

A pizzeria has opened in the old town, where you can either eat in or order takeout. There are also two other restaurants offering traditional Palóc specialties. Upon request, you can also order meat platters from Szécsény or visit the famous Bableves Csárda in Alsótold.

A cold or hot breakfast can be arranged upon request – the cost will be agreed upon individually.

The price refers to the entire house and can accommodate up to 5 people.

The price is given in Forint (1 EUR approx. 410 HUF).

For longer stays, extended weekends or special events, we will gladly create a customized price quote for you.

I'll decorate the cottage soon... No, not kitschy, because that would make me feel overwhelmed... but tastefully, delicately, but it already suggests a cozy atmosphere and will help you tune in to the holiday. I'm also happy to give you a quote for the Christmas period. It can also be requested as a gift certificate, which can be used until the end of May 2026. 

For individual needs and details, write, call, feel free. The experience is one of the most beautiful gifts.

The cottage is fully booked from December 26th, you can still choose a date for the days before, for the Advent period.
